Well that's funny, because you've seen this car before

Answer: you literally can’t.
It appears to be a lot of car for $20k, and (without knowing what these go for, used) I would've guessed a fair bit more than $20k with those low miles.

But "more car" is definitely subjective. What one person values isn't necessarily what another person would. Some people would more highly prefer a 50K mile $20K Lexus LS, or a beefy off-roading jeep. To each their own.

Fair point; there are other cars out there that serve different purposes.

Every time I drive this thing I'm blown away by just how...good it is to drive. It's not super fast (it's by far the slowest of my three cars), and you can definitely find faster cars for less money, but I maintain none of them will be as rewarding to drive as this car is.

The other thing about it, especially in this color, is that it doesn't LOOK like a 14 year old car that only cost $20k.

I must have blocked it out of my mind.

Totally agree. That car would be very hard to part with for that amount of money. But if you're ever thinking of selling, that would like very nice in my garage!

You've hit on why I still have mine. Mine is closing in on 80,000 miles (purchased it with around 30k). I finally broke down and did a full detail on it about a month ago. Clay, two stages of polish, another wash, and a full Gyeon ceramic application. It's … stunning. And such a great car to drive.

I owe it a set of plugs, air filters, a serpentine belt and an oil change. Now that the RX-8 is off the lift and driving around I need to put some love into the Boxster.

Not the best picture, and it needs another bath after being driven in a few rain storms recently but it stays a ton cleaner after the Gyeon treatment. It's not cheap, but I'm pretty much ready to throw out all my other paint sealants and waxes after using that stuff.

Anyway, it just rolled over 80,000 miles on my way to work the other day. It's still a joy to drive.

Gorgeous. I love it bathed in equally yellow sunlight.
