I feel like one solution here is a Spyder to replace your 987, and a 992.1 GTS.

Turbo would go when the 992 GTS would show up since they’re about equivalent in power but the nod would go to the car with a manual.

I’ve had multiple shots on goal at a Spyder. They’re super nice cars. In ‘most’ driving though, it’s not a huge step up from the 3.4 liter DI 987.2 engine. Most of that added power is up there in the stratosphere. It’s nice? But at 115k as a CPO and more as a new car, is it that nice?

I’m not feeling like the 992 GT3 is a 300,000+ car, so the 991.2s look like a relative bargain and it would be how I would want a Singer 911 to perform —except fully backed by Porsche’s factory warranty.

Yeah. I don’t really see the bottom dropping out of the 991.2 market anytime soon. Recession or not.
