I looked at one once.. a manual as well.
Nice to drive - very smooth and 'almost' had a sporty feel to it. But it could not get to being actually sporty as it was surprisingly SLLLLLOOOOOWWWW.
I knew it would be a bit so - but I was surprised by how slow it actually felt. Just seemed to make noise and a fuss - but not really seem to get going...

I can only imagine. The R129 is a tank at well over 4000lbs IIRC. ~228hp from circa 1990 from a 3L will not do the trick - especially by today's standards.
