I seriously doubt there is anything wrong with the OE springs.
Having said that, I'd probably go with the kit from TireRack that includes the FSD dampers and Eibach springs. The Eibach springs would give you a little drop though (on the M3 it's no more than an inch, not sure about the other models.) |

hmm...didnt think the setup was different but maybe the rear setup is different in the wagon for load carrying? I know it doesn't have any auto leveling crap like the 5 series wagon. Rear springs are probably a different rate at least compared to the coupe/sedan.
