I need to go test drive an '05 Elise that's for sale ~10 miles form home at the F-car dealership. Hopefully I'll get to it this weekend.

Are you tall? I hear they're a struggle for anyone 6'2" and up.

It's climbing over the side sill and down into practically the middle of it that's the problem - better have a strong back

It may be find for a 5'-10" 165 lb. driver. . . but this 5'-10" 220 lb. driver had difficulty getting into and out of the Elise. I found it easier to forget the door and just stand up on the seat and step over the door top (w/ top off) as recommended by the salesman.
