I didn't use the cruise, but I didn't see anything that suggested it was dynamic.
I coded my 1er and x5 for easier shut off with my BMWhat app. I tried the long hold, double tap, etc with and nothing worked. You can change the alignment of the HUD, but it doesn't help with (my) sunglasses. We have an early gen one in the x5 and it seems like it has been this way since the beginning. ASS seems to auto reset everytime you switch out of sport mode to default on. It did seem to remember your configuration and would stay in sport mode when you shut it off and restarted. See attached pic of oil notification. Size comparison pics to my e46 and x5 It is a really nice size. Also the wireless charger is great.

Interesting. Nice that they let you leave sport mode on by default now (mine always reverts back to comfort on restart). But, mine only changes the ASS setting if you change the mode to eco pro (in which case it turns it back on). I wonder if it's configurable as part of the drive modes now. |
