Old Cars

Some of you guys will laugh at these, but I think they're beautiful.

Many of these cars reflect a time when design and style was paramount, the future had unlimited potential - having been to the Glass House this week makes me wonder if we've become a less creative, but more technological culture.

Heck, I ain't wondering, I know it

Not laughing at all here, and I agree on the beauty part.

Thanks for posting.

One of the things in particular I like about the old cars were the interiors. Much more creative, sculptural, and beautiful (if not as elegant) than modern interiors. I liked all the painted steel, chrome trim, and interesting swoops, and instrument cluster arrangements and layouts.

Sure, they might have been death traps, but hey, they were good looking death traps.

I've never really been into old cars... but for some reason the 57 chevy always appealed to me.

I love the older cat designs. You can't succeed making cars like that anymore though. A handful of people will love them, but the mass market will buy camrys.
