So who's going to bother buying CCA raffle tix this year?

I just got our ticket order forms in the mail. *Another* E46 M3?

You can't even resell them for what you could a couple of years back.

But I guess they realize that if they did a Z4, 6 or 5-series, they really wouldn't sell very many tickets.

The E46 is the last model that has near universal approval among CCA-ers.

Anyway, I think I'm going to hold on to my money this year.

Then again, if I win, I can sell it and get my S4.

I think you need to drive one again. You did mention something about a performance package coupe a while back.... The S4 is just going to feel fatter.

They don't give you the car, they give you a check. You don't have to sell anything. A ex co-worker of mine won an M5 somewhere around '99. He was still trying to figure out the tax implications of asking them to hold off sending the check when it arrived in the mail.

(His M3 was new and he didn't want an M5 . . . I think it went into the downpayment of a condo.)
