Lovely. Except for the pollen, the last several days have been perfect top-down weather.

It's a beautiful day here today as well. I think we are just gonna take the M3 for a family drive. Stuck too long inside the house. |

Really nice picture. And great idea. Do you ever wonder now why you didn’t get one sooner?

So how do you feel about going ahead with the purchase and beginning to enjoy the car right away? I'm guessing no regrets.

Throughout my life I have taken a few wonderful road trips around the different finger lakes. But never in a 911 (you lucky bastard! )

On the other hand, I think about taking it out for drives all the time. It delivers real pleasure everytime I use it. I took the 135i today to target because we were out of TP, and I was surprised that it wasn't as much fun as I remember. In one of my many 'brain-f*xk' my decision moments this morning, i was trying to figure out if I didn't buy this car what i would get that was $30k cheaper to replace the 135 and nothing seemed worth considering. If the world outside wasn't shut down and we could take it to out of the way restuarants, or parks or enjoyable destinations, I think a lot of the concern from the first paragraph would be gone and I'd be a lot more content with the purchase. I am glad we held out for the perfect spec. If we were going to buy any car, I am really glad I bought *this one*. I still have all my searches up and nothing remotely close to a good fit has popped up since we found this one. So I guess, overall I'm really happy we went forward, but the real world issues we're all facing right now has significantly muted my enjoyment of pretty much everything.

Edit: Just realized you'd need to borrow Lou's Spyder (I got you guys confused, sorry), but the offer still stands.
