My wife and I were in the 1er today with the top down and I was loving the drive. My wife made a comment about how much I like my car. I replied, there was something more special about owning the e36 m3 and e39 m5 because when I was young they were such aspirational cars. The 1er was an 'easy' purchase in comparison, not nearly as emotionally driven. That m3 is the most perfect color combo, and I WANT it. Reality is it would dissapoint, but emotions are what they are.

Oof, that's very nice. I would rank the E36 M3 in third place among the first three M3s, but it really is a fantastic car. I would gladly own one again.

Wow. I clicked on the link prepared to slag the E36 M3 cabrio, but the colors on that one are gorgeous. It's so hard to find estoril paired with anything but dove grey.
