Baltimore Grand Prix

Got an email from TicketFly today telling me that tickets for the Baltimore Grand Prix went on sale today.

Is this going to be worth attending? Anyone else here planning to go?

I'd likely go, at least once, if I still lived in Baltimore.

Yes and Yes. Most of the tickets with the best seats were already scraped up... the hairpin is only a 10 minute walk from my house.

On another note, I have an interview with them next week for a part-time marketing job, so I might be able to provide more info if things go well.

It will be part of the 2011 IZOD IndyCar Series schedule and the 2011 American Le Mans Series schedule. The weekend event will feature world-class motorsports competition from several racing series, culminating in Sunday’s IZOD IndyCar Series race.

Pre-sale tickets have been available for a week or so.

I've been debating it. I think if I go at all it'll be for the friday practice/qualifying, and to check out the paddock.

The coolest thing, for me, is that there is work on having a certain class of racing, near and dear to me, as a support race.

If so, I WILL be there.

So it's this weekend and I still don't have tickets.

They are charging for Friday admission now, so I'm thinking if I have to pay I might as well just buy tickets for Saturday instead and catch the star mazda qualifying and the alms race.

Anyone else interested?
