The '16 is sold.
He couldn't talk the guy into letting him see the other one. They say it should be on the lot maybe Saturday. |

Yes, just tell your insurance company that you want to transfer plates. You can do so as long as you "lose possession" of the old car and the name on the registration doesn't change. You'd have a 7 day grace period to register it (though you'd also have to see if dealer would let you do it yourself or want to have their service do it) http://www.massrmv.com/Registration/...istration.aspx

Meh, whatever. I was still trying wrap my head around a $22K trade in, but had planned to put down a deposit this afternoon if we could find some middle ground. Anyway, there are other ones out there. I've been arguing with BMW of Peabody about this one for a few days now.
They had originally listed it at about $83K which is highway robbery. After speaking with them for a while, it's clear that they have too much money in the car and now need to find some sucker to overpay. $68K for the one in Baltimore was a good price. |

On your trade, if it's any perspective, we got $17k PP for a 2009 3.0si engine. Not quite 70k miles. Low 20s seems pretty low for your much later, faster model. But it seems there are so many of these trucks it may depress value on resale. Edit: You know, we did not get the lighting package or the big wheels. So maybe that's the difference. Still, pricey! |
