A colleague has a Mercedes like that (with the manual). She loves it. Not clear what she could get to replace it now.

I haven't driven it, but it's kind of a cool car in a Frankfurt Taxi kind of way. Last of the decent looking Mercedes, imho.

I know in the series before that, like my partners C55, in 06 you could get a C350 with the new that year 268hp updated V6 from the E class with a 6 spd and sport pkg. Also super rare but ran low 5's 0-60.

5.4 according to car and driver.

I never liked those but I did not know this 300hp version existed. The 348 wheels and painting all of the original black surfaces red really helps and updates the look. Like a 348 lite.

Reviews say 6.1 0-60. Most likely better with the performance rebuild.
