I did not know this was a thing, but I bet it would be even more fun than the LA/ATL track time. Maybe a winter Quebec trip and a summer LA trip.

Here's the similar shots top up and down. They did a great job matching the coupe profile with the top up.

It's one of the few convertibles that manages to look good w/ the top up

The 911 has a bad angle, most apparent in the 992.

I think the 982 looks better from most angles now. The 987 has some bad viewing angles, IMHO, where the proportions seem off.

The rest of the lineup from Porsche is pretty hideous. Panamera, Macan, Cayenne, Taycan. All hideous.

There’s so much simple beauty in the 911. Just. My opinion.

What is the 911's bad angle?

Not sure i'd go so far as to say the 4 door lineup is "hideous" but they can be a bit blobby looking imo...very dependent on color and wheels. Saw a base white Cayenne w/ the base wheels the other day and...yeah...its not good.

Yeah. I saw a Taycan cross turismo (in chalk) yesterday and it looked pretty great.

I also think the current SUV's are the best looking Porsche SUV's yet. Same for the Panamera (although it still looks a bit bloated and too big for me), it looks better than the last one.

Not perfect, but as a brand, their trend is better than most and far better than where BMW is going

Agreed. They have not succumbed to the big beaver grin, which is great. I have such mixed feelings about BMW—now the small grilles look dated and the big grilles look cheesy. There is no happy medium.

Yet, I still prefer their overall package of BMW (Porsche out of consideration for me because $$$) to other cars out there.
