If not for the kidney grill I would swear that front end was an Asian product.

Edit: Jesus what is the new 5’er going to look like.

I like the new one better. Of the design mistakes bmw has done recently, this seems least egregious.

Yep, if things don't change materially I'll drive it for a few more years. Seems like I'll buy it regardless when the time comes.

This… I was speaking to a former colleague today that has been with a BMW center for 40+ years, he stated that if you removed the kidneys and the hood Roundel you would think it as something from their Hyundai store.

Just for fun, I went to KBB to see what they estimate for private party value of our X7. $103K. I don't see a situation where we don't buy this thing in late summer 2023.

Out of curiosity I just checked to see what my 2017 X5 is worth, private party affixed below. I have seen dealers asking $50-55k+ plus for lightly equipped 17-18 xDrive35i X5s with 30-35k miles. I would gladly take that for mine with 7,1XX miles and more eq.

Per KBB, the TRADE-IN for our GTI is ~2k more than we paid new over a year ago.

Fixed… I did not feel like beginning another thread and since the 7 and X7 are related I decided to park the pics here. Anyways… the i7 was leaked over night.

It’s a lot less aggressive and in your face than I was worried it would be. I honestly don’t mind it. Maybe that’s why they previewed the X7 a week earlier - give us a chance to get used to the new face. 😄

I think the boxier shape and more upright fenders & rear quarters make for a better looking car than the EQS, so as long as specs are favorable I think BMW will have a strong competitor in the i7.
