As much as we bitch about them, it's a nice car. I know some of you don't like the styling, but I do. The only thing I don't really like is the steering. And yes, that is a big deal... but not big enough to outweigh the other pros and at the end of the day everything else about it works for me too. So it's not a total "default" but it's also not a perfect slam-dunk.

No, I know what you mean. If I had to buy a new car right now to be my only/primary car, it would be hard to buy anything other than a 335.

I see your point and I guess its because my kids are older, but I'd still get the R under those parameters.

The R is a cool car, but not quite what I'm looking for. Add to that the mediocre lease deal and meh. BMW makes it far too easy for me to lease.

He's said before that he needs/wants to take work-type people with him.

If I could do everything over again, as a guy with no kids I would probably have bought a Porsche...but then again, when I was a guy with no kids the Porsches out there were 986s and 996s, which I always found wanting.
