I am not sweating it too much, but evidence would suggest cars manufactured in late 2020 (this is a 10/2020 car) may have had a bad batch of oil pump than could kill the engine. No such reports from later cars.
hahaha- well it wouldn't be a true Porsche without some fatal flaw waiting to grenade the engine at any moment...

Hmmm.

Back when I ordered the optional CF shifter, this is the shifter website showed:

However, this is what is currently shows:

Is it a graphics issue or did it really change?

If it changed, when did this happen and what am I getting? Not sure which one to root for, but I suspect the second have has more Cf and less chance of accumulation of dirt.

EDIT: Never mind. It has to be a graphics thing. The collar also looks carbon fibery, which would be ridiculous.

I am pretty sure pic #2 is what I saw when you posted the spec code. I remember thinking that I preferred the stock shift knob.

Ah, well, it must have been messed up after they updated the configurator.

Well, ship docked in Jacksonville. At least the car didn’t sink in the Atlantic. Baby steps.

LOL- if I ever order a Porsche, I'll always be thinking about that as a possibility...
