Thanks for the research! (And hoping I don't need it anytime soon...)

Couldn't you just bring it back and say you weren't happy with the first repair job?

I wanted to try that. Unfortunately, the first scrape was covered in yellow paint, and the second in red.

It's worth a shot asking them to get you a price to fix it while they're already working on the car... the extra cost might not be that bad (though I know it wouldn't be as good as "free").

I already mentioned to them that there were a few unrelated things I'd want to get a price on and would pay out of pocket.

Euromotorcars does the best work that I've seen. Which they had damned well better do at double the rate of anybody else that I've ever seen, too.

I look forward to hearing about Europros. The E46 needs a bit of work.

Man you guys have a LOT of accidents. My last one was in 2000 when someone backed into the drivers side door of my 94 MR2 Turbo.

I was thinking the same thing.

I've only been in one since I've been able to drive, and two others when I was a kid. The one I was in caused damage to the car I drove, but not the person I hit. Total cost to repair was around $300 (in '97)...

And I don't count the time my brother rear-ended me once at a stop light. I was still stopped since the light was red and he inexplicably started to go. Fortunately he hit me at <10 MPH, so neither car had any damage...
