I have a pair of Joe Rocket riding gloves. Heavy leather with carbon fiber on the knuckles. I've had them since 2004 and they haven't worn thin. Haven't crashed though.

I'm thinking of buying a second bike. Saw a friend's specialized roubaix. He did his research, I'm sure and the bike looked nice in blue and white so I'll probably get one. I'll just try to make sure the frame fits. Last time I went into a bike store 7 years ago, I walked in and pointed at the orange one and bought it. Not even sure if I test rode it. While it's a cool Klein frame, it doesn't actually fit me.

I have no desire to test and analyze this domain of purchase. No time to be a bike-mudgeon as well.. There is just no end to this. And then you can be a audiophile and a oenophile and a food-mudgeon and on and on...

equ, the bikes of this discussion have motors on them. Having said that, the ONLY thing that really matters in a road bike purchase is fit. The rest is negotiable.

Ooops, serves me right for only reading original post (which had some interpretation room)... Sorry and carry on...
