I think it makes a real difference if it's a weekend car or a DD. Definitely real seats for the DD.

You also don't get heaters in the CF seats, right?
I'd spec them if I was going to track the car. They are fucking amazing for that. For daily work? They don't make any sense. |

Oh, good, you can enable backfiring in Sport mode. You'd probably want that feature on all the time, though.

Everytime I think about a 911, I always come to the conclusion that I would much rather have this:
and $50k in my pocket. I am in the minority, but I don't lust after a 911. I think they're cool and I wouldn't mind owning one, but it is not a car that is on my aspire to have one day list. The e39 M5 was on that list. The e36 m3c was as well when I was young. F cars were at the top of the list for a long time, but I've lost interest in them once they gave up on the gated shifter. Right now, the list is one car long and it is AMV8 'verts with 6sp manuals. Well, I guess you can throw the E63 wagon on the list too, but that is for different reasons. https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...lCode1=VANTAGE

Terrible. Also, they look better than they drive.

I've researched that they aren't *too* bad for reliability. I believe the engines are Mercedes AMG sourced. A couple people had N54 e60s and said they were worse than the AMV8 as a reference. Granted, that is a very low bar, but one that many of us can relate to.
As far as driving, I don't think they can hold a candle to Porsches in true dynamics, but they are so damn pretty and sound so damn good, that I can convince myself to give away a few tenths of a second for style points. (Having said that, I've yet to drive one, so my dreams may come tumbling down when reality hits).

Of course, after $100k in depreciation, they are a much more interesting proposition.
