Checked out an i8 yesterday while at the local bmw dealer. They are looking for $100k over sticker if anyone is interested.

They did give me an i3 loaner though. I figured it would be more fun than the alternative 320i.

Seems to be the trend after the OC dealer sold one at that markup, San Diego dealer is trying to do the same thing.

Yep, salesman friend of mine referenced that exact thing. He had actually sold one prior to that benchmark, and seemed pretty annoyed that the owner was holding this one back.

Heard this one drive up. The sound of the V12 is pretty great.

Assume this is a new 7. It's not visible in this terrible pic, but it had a fake fender vent like the new X5 right behind the rear wheel.

i saw an i8 on the road for the first time over the weekend...pretty cool

Same carwash where the owner has a Ford GT; I think this is the owner's car.

Related: I am paying too much for car washes, I think.

Saw a Coda yesterday (failed EV -- they tried using a Chinese-built small sedan and putting their own EV power train in it). They went BK about the same time as Fisket...

And quasi car related, but saw what I think was a Ford Trimotor fly over us this morning...

This was a nice looking RHD Defender. Temporary Texas tags, so I guess it was a recent import?
