Yeah, that's pretty damn bright. Maybe I could tolerate it in a Lambo or similar, but on an M3? I don't think so.

It's a yes/no question for me rather than an if/then.

It's the same thing for me as those 911 gauges I went off on recently. I don't think my eyes would be happy with that kind of assault every time I got in. If the color isn't so saturated and loud in real life (a very real possibility), maybe? But if the photo is a realistic representation, no way.

Because I consider an M3 more of a daily driver. Whereas a crazy exotic I'd only drive occasionally.

The orange seats are tame compared to whatever the F this is supposed to be:

I will admit the carbon buckets are cool, even if I wouldn't pay for them. I would not take them for free in that combo.

The seats in the F8x and G8x are the best thing about them. All seats in every M3 prior suck.

I like the F80 seats. Haven't tried them at the track, but they are more than adequate for aggressive driving and reasonably comfortable.

The problem for me is the extending thigh bolsters. Because I'm fat, they cause leg pain. I'm actually seriously considering a set of Recaro Sportsters.

I sat in an f80 m3 once, I loved the seats. I occasionally toy with the idea of a yas marina blue sedan, manual...

Now that C finally got an awd wagon, I no longer have to have a ski-mobile. While both her Golf TDI and GTI were capable in the snow (especially the GTI with blizzaks and that front diff), I wanted more length in the car for skis/stuff as well as one car in the fleet having AWD. The 340i xdrive is useful but a bit low in soul. If I had to replace it today, I'd consider a 340i RWD or an M3.
