did not know they were in the USA, but I saw a Holden Storm Ute on highway 522 today. (the 2 door, mini El Camino shaped thing) Did not look closely to see if it had Canadian plates, it was going the other direction. It did have advertisement decals on the rear side panels.
Looked sharp! There is a Nascar West event at our local racetrack this weekend, not sure if maybe it had anything to do with this sighting

Didn't get a picture, but I saw a new Ghibli being unloaded this afternoon still in full shipping wrap, it seemed kind of strange that it was being delivered by Reliable carriers.
And something else that you don't see everyday: |

There's a guy with a Ghibli at my office -- he parks a few spots down from me. He also has a few other cars, and drives the Ghibli only 1-2 days a week...

Saw a Morgan 3-wheeler on this weekend's road trip.
And this . . . It was the car of a family killed in the Mt. St. Helens eruption back in 1980. They had signed waivers a few days before the eruption and headed on up to a remote cabin. They had parked their car right here and it hadn't moved since, the damage having been caused by the blast wave as it rolled over the surrounding hills (this was a few miles from the mountain on the lee side of some hills). I should have taken a close up because the V8 is still there under the hood, headers and all. The carb can be seen when the hood was smashed down over it. .

I would love to go back and see Mt. St. Helens now . . . I was in the area 10 years after it happened and the valley that contained the event was still a desolate wasteland of knocked over trees and low scrub starting to grow back. The aftermath still makes me think the fury of the event must have been unimaginable. I suspect it looks more like a young forest now.

Something else that I wish I still saw every day. Can't tell from the photo, are those MD plates? |
