Sort of on topic - I saw a fisker ocean in a local parking lot over the weekend. I had no idea Fisker was still in business and making cars (SUVs). I still see a Karma from time to time, I wonder if it is the same guy?

Fisker isn’t exactly still in business; it’s now a different company. The cars are contract built by Magna.

His first company that build the Karma went bankrupt and believe this is a new entity (also using Fisker name). First company is still operational as Karma Automotive

Woukd be kind of ironic considering Rivians steadfast refusal to integrate carplay.

I’m sure we’ll see some consolidation in the industry over the next few years.

The R2 is great looking. The R3 is somewhere between a Gremlin and a first gen Golf but I actually love it.

I put a deposit down on the R2. We’ll see where it goes.
