I set up an appointment for tomorrow night. Lucky for me, Carmax is less than 10 minutes away.

They ask to see most “unique” cars in person, for the record. It’s not as odd as you’d think.

I was hoping for closer to 60k based on the ads I see.

EDIT: Autotrader has cars like mine advertised for over $70k. https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...&numRecords=25
BAT candidate? Would do well if you could get it on there.

I think there are a variety of factors that may play into it.

Low production cars where they don't have enough data to make automated decisions, low production cars with miles well outside their expected range, something on the Carfax (or similar), options selected don't match what their system thinks should not be possible combinations, etc.

I thought of that. The paint is not immaculate, so those picky guys may tear into it if I take extreme close ups of the flaws, but it does look awesome from just a couple of feet away. The interior is as new.

Besides a few small stone chips, the only flaw is a scuff shown below.

Comp Manual in Orange - Probably pretty rare I would think.

BaT is a good option if they'll list the car and you have time to constantly answer questions from nitpicky tire-kickers. The premium you're likely to get there would allow you to hire a professional detailer to make the car really pop in the ad.

Looks fantastic! Question. What is the black button next to the reflector? I know the other colored ones are for park assistance.

I'd also hire a photographer, honestly, if you're going to try and sell it on BaT.
