Possibility, but probably pretty slim. If the launch car is modifiable then I would get it, but I am planning to do an individual paint if I go through with it. That could totally throw a lot of things out of whack.

We still don’t know the color pallet for the G87. i predict much better bolder choices then the F87.

I have got my top 10 individual colors picked out. If BMW does not approve I will just move down the list.

Edit: I just recently informed my client advisor that I will be doing individual paint if I proceed with the order. I was immediately informed that it could extend it by six or eight more weeks. I am already waiting 1.5-2 years so what is another six or eight weeks? lol

There are a bunch of auto journos in Munich now, for the auto show, per Twitter, and a number of them are posting from BMW Welt today. So it wouldn’t surprise me if the press drive is happening this week.

Considering this will be my last new ICE BMW I want the rarity and I am willing to pay for it too. I suspect if BMW gets it right they are going to sell a ton of these and I do not want to repeatedly see a twin of mine. For me it is totally worth the $5500 to avoid that scenario.

BTW, The top five within the ten, I would be exceptionally happy with. I have selected colors from the BMW individualize via the current M3/M4.
