License plate helps disguise the ugliness of that grille, too.

Thermostats don't snap open and close. They start to crack well below the set temperature and are just fully opening at the set temp. Though ... do these cars even have thermostats? Hasn't BMW gone all-in on electric water pumps that fail catastrophically every 60,000 miles?
