Facebook marketplace continues to impress:

Note that it appears to have a 3+1 mismatched tire set.

not only couldn't afford the BAT listing charge, can only afford one tire at a time.

With those pictures, you have to wonder if the whole thing is a scam or not

Those are mediocre photos for a used, $3k craiglist civic. How one could think they will do just fine for an 18yo, $125k F-car is beyond me.

My favorite from the set. Shows that...the puddle lamps work? I guess?

I love how out of focus that is. How does one decide: "That's good enough. Post it!"

(I spent several hours this weekend merely merging, sorting, and purging photos from the ED trip in 2018. 6200 photos and videos. So far I've gone through 4k and deleted 1k. I deleted far better photos than that one that had far more interesting subjects.)

The reality is that what to put on a car "for sale" ad or which type of photos to post is not obvious to non-car people. 10 years ago I created the ad for my parents' '03 XC70 and my family was blown away. They thought it looked very professional. Trust me it was nothing special.

But again, trying to sell a $125k Ferrari is on a different level. This is so ridiculous.

As I get older I appreciate more and more how hard it can be to tell an in-focus shot from an out-of-focus shot without resorting to glasses. But, yeah, this is goofy.

fixed

and it must be quite a feat to get a smartphone to take a picture that far out of focus
