I come back to this--BaT is well enough publicized these days that you aren't going to find many (or any) really good deals there. But that doesn't mean it's not worth checking out, since they have consistently strong inventory. You're just going to have to resign yourself to paying market (or top of market) if you want to buy a car there.
This is in the grocery store parking lot in my town. @FC, want me to put your contact info on the windshield? Other than the worse wheels, it is nice and same spec as the BAT one (from my quick walk around)

$80,000 is really good for an 8-year old car?

Oh you must mean for the seller

If you want an E61, this is probably the one to get.

Wow. Similar to yours?

My ex says her Model Y reminds her of her E61. Her favorite prior car (now belongs to Zach’s dad.)

She is totally smitten with the Y, BTW.

In broad strokes, yes, but this one has the later, updated nav and the M sport package, so it looks a lot nicer. I'm not a huge fan of the brushed trim on E60/61 interiors, but other than that it's got about everything you could ask for.

I like the blue, too; maybe the best E61 color.

I don't regret selling it when I did to get the Tesla, but it really is a unique car. There's nothing like it for sale these days.

Ugh, it's in DC, too. Would this be a good car for a teenager, other than the obvious and terrible maintenance issues?
