So, with buyer's premium, just under 40K.

I come back to this--BaT is well enough publicized these days that you aren't going to find many (or any) really good deals there. But that doesn't mean it's not worth checking out, since they have consistently strong inventory. You're just going to have to resign yourself to paying market (or top of market) if you want to buy a car there.

Also, a large fraction of the cars don't transact, so it's worth following up to see if there's a second chance.

That’s a good point.

The SL sold for 37.5k. But with fee, 6.25% MA sales tax and shipping it probably ends up at 43k or so. That’s more than I’d want to spend at this point in my life.

What, you don't want to fly down to Florida and drive it back, through the heart of the pandemic in August? Weird, but ok.

I've always wanted to know how the steering wheel loses the roundel? Can't you replace it? Looks terrible without it...

The steering wheel with airbag in the mid-90s had the rounded embossed into the black airbag cover, there wasn’t a color roundel.

I'm irritated that the irrational run up in Porsche values still excludes the one that I own, but this is just further confirmation that 987s are the smoking deals in the Porsche world right now.

That is nice. Need to start looking at those. Not many Boxsters on BaT. Not that I'd necessarily want one from there either.

Aha. Thanks for that. Looks like heck, IMO.

Yes. Later cars came with the better looking 3 spoke wheel; that's what mine had (edit--not my car, obvs).
