Lime Rock Edition in Australia, no less. Maybe should have been the Bathurst Edition down there? That's a little school-bussy for my taste, but if I had to choose between that and a silver M3, I'd pick orange every time.

But I really like Crush, it's a neat color.

I was actually admiring this orange Mini yesterday (online). Alas not one of the manuals that are now coming.

2016s had "Velvet Blue Metallic"
2017s and 2018's had "Hyper Blue Metallic"

Both of those were brighter and more appealing (IMO) than the 2019/20 Riverside Blue Metallic.

will you be getting all the aero bits that are on the car FC posted? I think I'd enjoy washing those winglets, kind of like I always enjoyed cleaning the mirrors on my e36 m3

The car FC posted is a ZL1 1LE and those bits are specific to that model with that package. The car I buy will have a much smaller splitter, a short blade spoiler instead of a big wing, and no canards (the winglet things on the front corners), or side skirts.

Thoughts of a used 2017 or 18 ZL1 have been rolling in my head since the beginning of the virus stuff. The pricing was close enough that if used values had generally dropped the way it was looking at first, it would have been doable. I don't think I would have gotten the 1LE package on it. It's so track focused that it suffers a lot as a street car.

I get that. I was looking at a 2020 Riverside when getting a brake recall done on my GMC.

I only meant it looks better in person than the pictures (like 75% of all cars)

The battleship/baby puke golden grey of my GMC looks as bad in person as the pictures

I need you to be explicit: getting a ZL1 is stupid idea for a commuter car. Please just say yes.
