Almost finished... about 3 to 5 weeks out now.
Engine, trans, driveshaft, brakes/suspension, intake, exhaust... all are complete, or nearly so. Been so busy at work that I have not had the chance to post any pics or such. I figure I will fly down to Oakland , use the car for a couple of days and fly home. I will give the car back to the shop to have (I figure) the final items addressed. I'll then drive down from Seattle (with my trailer) to collect it shortly after. I have a 28' enclosed car trailer - that is the reason I have the F250...

https://apple.news/A_xqmPf_rTvOjPtNdDCXycw The E34 really is a beautiful design. Still looks like it could be made today (With a few interior tweaks). Hard to believe it came out 32 years ago!

Now the 1er and the P-Car can share our garage and the wagon can move out of the street back into the driveway. Yeah.

It had been z3 and p-car in the garages, x5 and 1er in the driveway and wagon out front. It was a bit ridiculous. Sidebar comment, but the 1er is just an excellent car. I've been drving it a bit the last few days and even compared to the 911, it is just fun. You need to be a bit cautious to not over-drive (ie its got power to easily break away) with the 911, but with the 1er you can thrash on it a little bit without excessive drama. The infotainment from 2011 is worlds better than the 2017 version of PCM. The 1er is the best car I've ever owned.
