Front input seal on trans is (I think) leaking...

But - I tell you ... I drove it the other day on a nice twisty road up north (out in the country). New tires.. No traffic. No problem. I know it is not the fastest car out there - but the combo of comfort and speed - it can't be beat. Felt nice to get it in a couple of high speed curves and let the back end hang out a bit (hearing the tires scrub a bit didn't hurt).

I know it will be out of my stable soon though. Maybe next year. Might make it to 250k. Need to figure things out - Ted's E39 M5 still beckons... lol... But Patty does not like to drive a stick, so - as a back up vehicle for her... need to see what happens...
ummmmmmmm - Its for sale again. =)

I'll even get it detailed for you.

I can make another one here but I figure no one would be interested. As I stated in the other thread I am waiting for some things to line up at the end of this month before I start my serious M2 search. I’ll probably be putting up the Cars.com and Autotrader ad’s at the same time.

If anyone does want to know details before then just PM me.

The part I’ll miss the most. Even upside down.

Yeah - upside down, still looks awesome under the hood.....

Who knows - after we finally get out of the old house and get the shop fixed up and... get the E9... Might be able to do something on my part... Yeah - I know....

Freshly detailed after a very expensive service appointment.

Looking very sharp. As a previous b8 a4 and b8.5 s4 owner, I'm curious... Was it just overpriced scheduled maintenance at the dealer or did something come up?

Well, it was the dealership, so it was probably overpriced to an extent.

But there was also a lot of stuff:

Recommended 55k mi service (at 42k mi) - laundry list of normal stuff
All 4 upper link bushings
Both front lower control arm bushings
All 4 brake pads and rotors
2 new tires
Trim rattle repair
