No more 2 series convertible after this model year...

That's a bummer. It wouldn't have been offered with a manual anyway (I guess it is pointless bemoaning the loss of a clutch pedal at this point) and the 3/4 vert will have a real soft top this time around. Between that and the existance of the z4, the 2er probably doesn't have much of a market.

I think I've seen a grand total of one of these. Doesn't surprise me that it's going away.

There are quite a few down here in Atlanta. Mostly the 4 cylinder iteration. We have a lot of convertible friendly weather here.

Like between October and March? Because from April to September it is pretty hot there, and brutally humid between June and August, no?

Summer mornings are fine. But the top has to go up, if only because of the blazing sun, by noon or so.

Atlanta isn’t as humid or hot as people think. There were humid days in the summer, but it would only last a couple days, then be less humid for a few days and cycle again. Summer temps rarely went over 100 - and low 90s were more common. I wouldn’t call that brutally hot...

I've been to Atlanta in the summer and found it to be unbearably humid but maybe it was just that week.

Low 90s is pretty unpleasant to me. Way too hot for a convertible.

Right. The summers last longer, I think. but it actually doesn’t get as hot as DC. I think it’s the elevation. We’re at roughly 1,000 feet above sea level. Haven’t seen 100 since I got here. Whereas DC routinely had at least a week of 100-degree days, usually in July.
