I think it would be entertaining to do it up with a 3.5L Ecoboost crate motor.
If it comes with almost all parts and they're in good enough shape, $4500 may be a decent price for it as a parts car. But it's only worth considering as a parts car because of the missing title.

Seeing that car in that shape brings back a lot of memories. And it's local.

Title not withstanding, this looks to be a great "I'm bored" solution if hte birdcage is okay. Lots of reconditioning of interior parts to keep you busy for as long as you want. Finish any body prep. Get it painted. Spend as much time as you want planning engine and accessories, and do that. Put in a new suspension setup. At the end, you'll have a reasonably low cost cruiser with the ride/handling combo you want that should be able to bring back about what you have into it (if you didn't go crazy) any day you want to sell.

If it had a title and I didn't have driveway decorations...

Re: bike racing team. I bought a Peloton. It’s been too cold and snowy/rainy to ride outside much.

Perfect, you can start racing in the spring.

Talk about adrenaline. It's a rush. The constant threat of crashes and broken collarbones really keeps things interesting.

Get a bike trainer in the meantime.

Oops. I thought you meant your bike purchase awhile back. Had to look up Peloton, as I thought we called those stationary bikes...

So you're the only person I know who has bought one of these. Can you explain to me what the appeal is? Not the appeal of a stationary bike in general, but the Peloton specifically? It seems bonkers expensive to me, and is obviously marketed towards a very well-off clientele, but I genuinely don't understand what the purpose of it is above and beyond just a bike trainer.

That is a riot. Kind of a Peloton Hell.
