Lotus Elan

The newer 90s version that totally does not look like a fancied up Mercury Capri vert. I guess it didn't do too well here because of the Miata.

Does anyone have any experience with one of these? I saw one a few months back and liked it. Does anyone know anything other than what is on its Wikipedia page?

Not good cars. Decent chassis, but FWD. Isuzu engine. Typical 90's lotus, one step above a kit car.

I haven't seen one in years. Agree that they should be avoided.

My neighbor when I was a kid had an original Elan. Gorgeous...
