What kind of a deal do you think you could get...

...on a brand-new 2004 R32 that's been sitting on a dealer lot for 12 months now?

There are four such cars in the DC area that I have found.

Marital harmony dictates that we have one AWD or FWD car. Buying a 330 now may be foolish, but buying one next winter may not be (especially doing ED).

It's an excellent car. A car doesn't have to make an ideal track car to be an excellent car.

IMO, an R32 would make a perfect daily driver/commuter for me.

JST- Please PM me with the dealers who have them as I guess I should check out just how low they'll go. I wonder if $10K off sticker is out of the question.

A couple of grand below invoice. By "couple," I would say $2k max. But you never know.

The one post at the Vortex that I found on this topic suggested that the cars might actually be marked up further at this point, since there are only 50 or so new ones left in the country.

I find that logic less than compelling.

I could see a dealer trying to use that logic initially, but backing down very quickly.

Not sure if you saw on rx8club the idiots that thought that RX8 prices would be jacked up due to the fire at the factory.
