Hell, *I* would love to have that. If only it weren't priced about $20k over what I'd think it's worth.

I don't have any idea what it's worth, but it's awesome.
Of course, if you want to be practical, it costs about the same as what I paid for my car, which is 16 years newer, probably just as fast or faster, and is not made entirely with parts constructed of unobtanium. But that one is so much cooler. |

Still, at that price, the opportunity cost thinking kicks in. Heck, one could easily do a 6-spd conversion on a low mileage '03 540iT for less and have a car just as fast but much cheaper to fix and with plenty of modern comfort technology to boot. |

Edit: Owner should keep it around for its parts. Has one in his own collection: http://enthusiastauto.com/qsearch/?i...orm_display=51 |

Wait, do those fit on E61s? EDIT: Maybe yes. Oh, I know what I want for Christmas. http://www.bmwland.co.uk/forums/view...02944&start=40 EDIT: No, wait. The offset is all wrong for AWD cars. D'oh. Back to wanting 135s, I guess. Last edited by JST; 05-10-2012 at 03:26 PM. |
