Speaking of dumb ideas: P1800
It is very likely I will be getting one of these within the next year.
I've been thinking I want a vintage car to tool around in but everything even remotely cool is way too expensive. This post on BAT last week got me thinking about these. I don't think I want the wagon, but the coupe is super sexy. Just need to find one that meets a narrow criteria. This one is great. But I'm not quite ready to act on it. I will probably regret this decision. May keep the Miata at that time. May have to use some of the funds from the Miata and buy a cheap DD. Anywhoo... We'll see. Thought I'd share. |

interesting, looks like a good price point to possible collectability ratio where you can test it out see how if it scratches the itch. If it does great, if not you won't lose anything

I won't try to talk you at of this idea! Always liked the 1800, and the wagon version too.

I don't know that the Jensen body is really a plus, since I think they had QC issues that led them to bring production in-house. |
