Lug nuts are my personal hell, courtesy overthinking. The Focus and Camaro come with nuts covered in chrome sheaths that warp, twist and degrade with multiple on/off cycles, so they need replacement. Replacement nuts are not quite as long (tiny bit shorter), so my head thinks, "less clamping force, hmm, dunno, about that, seen a lot of wheels come off cars, don't want to be that guy" and this leads to inaction with the Camaro. The OE wheels and lugnuts have not been on/off that many times, but the nuts are showing wear and I can feel it when I put a socket on them.

And I just shake my head at myself.
