For me, on the street, the 3.8L GT4 was not as fun as the Cayman R (my benchmark) or any other 3.4L (S or GTS). Having had the GT4 out of my system, I don't see the allure of the 4.0... Also depends on what they do with the rear suspension. If they do the GT3 treatment and 295 rears like on the GT4, it becomes super planted and the car loses some playfulness/neutrality. But if you keep the basic rear suspension that the boxster/cayman comes with and add a bunch of power, it will not put it down too well (even with LSD).

Still, nice to know that there will be some NA flat-6's and not just turbo 4's.
