I’ve had a lot of uneven experiences with Michelin. In particular, the high end Michelin tires don’t last. The usable lifespan of a Pilot Super Sport is 12 to 24 months. At some point in there, they get HARD and noisy and lose their grip. I like the Pilot Sport A/S3+ fairly well, and the LTX all seasons are great.
So, the Michelin PSS is better than the Hankook for about a year. After that year, it’s garbage. I say this as someone with a set of 75% tread PSSes on the rack that will get trashed when I get around to reusing the wheels they are on.
