What makes me a skeptic about this vehicles is:

1) Performance in EV-only mode (would not want an absolute dog)
2) Real range in EV-only mode
3) Weight and packaging issues
4) Complexity from dual power sources
5) Cost both in terms of acquisition and depreciation.

All of these are interrelated. It will come down to execution.
