I stood next to a Panamera last week -- and it is an enormous vehicle.
But it looked better in person than in photos. Yes, the rear end is large and round, but I didn't find it nearly as ugly as I thought I would.
A good friend of mine had a chance to drive both the S and Turbo at a Porsche press event He absolutely loved driving it and was amazed at how light it felt -- and kept wondering where Porsche hid ~1000 lbs (its a 4000 lb car, but dives like a 3000 lb car). He also said that the S had sufficient power (400HP), and that the Turbo had too much power (500HP)...
He was also able to get his 6'2" cameraman in the seat behind him, and there was still plenty of legroom for both him (5'10") and cameraman ...
