So I actually did the 255mi round trip drive. It helped that it was in a pretty area (despite today's torrential rain, I enjoyed the colors). It helped that the seller was some kind of farmer/mechanic/genius who just rebuilt a 1930's RR engine, restored a 1925 truck and had a one of four or so 1915 buick coupe in great shape...

Yes, they fit, so I ended up with the smallest wheel possible with the most rubber possible.

I actually contacted the wheel maker, Alutec, in Germany before my drive, but they could not confirm for the turbo. So now they know.
