A GF in high school had an '81 Accord automatic. I actually really enjoyed that car. My dad had an '88 Acura Legend at the time and you could definitely feel similarities between the two cars. The switchgear and gauges were surprisingly similar in look, and in the case of the switchgear, feel.
The engine in that Accord was just crazy smooth. It probably had engine mounts made of Jell-O but it was just totally vibration free. It was free of power as well, but whatever. It also had the most hilarious vacuum hose routing diagram under the hood. Similar to the one below.
