Can anyone recommend a good classic car auction/show to go to? No I am not in the market, just want to work on my photography skills, take a bunch of car pics and take a quick weekend trip somewhere. Preferably not Podunk Arkansas. I know Barrett-Jackson is coming up soon but that seems like overkill.
Would need to be able to actually get close to the cars but I know that with many auctions you can't even breathe on the cars much less get close enough to take some artsy pics.
Any recommendations?

Here in the NE, there are a lot of large and small classic shows on select weekends (some of the small shows meet every weekend, usually centered around a club or venue). These are better than auctions as you can spend the day browsing and snapping pics.
Not too much going on now of course.
