In my humble opinion the VSS of the 1 M is the bench mark that the EAS racks should be shooting for, because it's fairly light and very quick, with the response always proportionate to the degree of input, regardless of the speed of travel. You can definitely feel it tighten up as the g's increase, but it never feels forced and artificial like the EAS systems do. It garners high marks for fidelity and the feeling you can trust the feedback it's returning to the pilot.

That used to be a BMW trademark secret, but now becoming a long ago faded memory.
