I think once you start worrying about making money on it or getting your money back or not losing too much money, it's hard to really enjoy the car.

I loved my M3, but I also worried about the VANOS failure and subframe issues all the time. I was worried I would lose the money I spent on it--and more (needing a new engine, etc.)

I should have just addressed the problems head-on and lived with a certain measure on uncertainty.

Who knows, the 2 may end up having some catastrophic issue down the road (it is a relatively new engine--the B58). The difference is, I don't know about it yet and can still enjoy the car!
