I have to 2nd the General Altimax RT43. We had those on my wife's CR-V for a couple years before we sold it. They were outstanding tires for the price and worlds better than the OEM Bridgestone garbage tires on our newer CR-V.
I have cheap Kumho all-seasons on my FR-S for around town driving, and they're only okay.
